The Kolab Server has a server-side mechanism for automatic invitation handling. This feature is typically used for booking of resources (e.g. meeting room, company car).

The invitation policies define for each Kolab account one of the following five rules how to deal with incoming invitations:

  1. Always accept
Invitations will accept and add in to the calendar automatically.
  2. Always reject
    All incoming invitations will reject.
  3. Reject if conflicts
Invitations will reject if there are a date conflict. Otherwise the invitations will be accept automatically.
  4. Manual if conflicts
Invitations will deliver to the mailbox of the recipients (of the invitations) for handle it manual if there are a date conflict. Otherwise the invitations will be accept automatically.
  5. Manual
Invitations will always deliver to the mailbox of the recipients (of the invitations) for handle it manual.

Each Kolab user can configure their invitaion policies in the user settings of Kolab webadmin.
