SUSE 9.2
From Kolab wiki
Kolab2 Server on SUSE 9.2
The main erfrakon Kolab development machines (currently 2.0beta2 and KDE 3.4 Beta) run successfully on SUSE Linux Professional 9.2.
- SUSE Professional 9.2 is a main test platform for the KDE Kolab 2 Client Kontact.
Currently we use the KDE 3.3.2 update from http://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast-source/
If you add the above URL to the installation sources in YaST2 you can easily upgrade your SUSE 9.2 Installation to KDE 3.3.2.
On top of SUSE 9.2 with the KDE 3.3.2 update we compile the kdepim CVS module directly form the KDE CVS.
- SUSE Professional 9.2 also serves as a development platform for the Kolab 2 server.
- init Script - kolab init script for SUSE 9.2
The bootstrapping process sometimes doesn't create correct config files for the apache ssl and amavisd logfile. It is the same problem as stated here: http://wiki.kolab.org/index.php/Sarge
To get the server running, edit the /kolab/etc/amavis/amavisd.conf manually and ask someone on the kolab-user-maillist to send you a running version of the /kolab/etc/apache folder.
