Talk:Kolab2 FAQ
From Kolab wiki
Users that can send to it need at least the read/post permission, but what is if "anyone" has all permissions?
I have a shared folder with "all" permission to everyone, so it should be work. I think its a problem of the virtual_map in postfix..........
Try to send all the details you can to the kolab users mailing list, you can subscribe here: http://www.kolab.org/mailman/listinfo/kolab-users
About this part :
"I made a shared folder in the web admin and added a vcard to contacts, but I cannot send email to it, I keep a message back saying "service unavailable Command output: Failed to set recipient: Invalid response code received from server, code 550" : This error message is because of permissions, even if it there are only certain users that can read from the folder, there must be a permission for "anyone => post", for the server to be able to dump messages in there. Go into shared folders, select the folder and add "anyone" with permission POST."
Please explain better. Does a folder ALWAYS have to contain 'anyone p' to receive mail through Postfix/kolabmailboxfilter ? I thought it was enough to only give 'p' rights to users who may post to it. But that doesn't work in my situation i discovered. I really have to add 'anyone p' to a folder .. or else nobody can post to it (even if they have 'p' rights themselves.
Can someone explain this better ?
