Installation (compiling)

Please note that you will have a trouble with the following library:
- libgcrypt11
Please uninstall it in order to install kolab2 server on a system. You can do it by doing the following:
- #sudo apt-get --purge remove libgcrypt11
However, you must be aware that uninstalling it will uninstall all kde or gnome software and gnupg. This last software will make apt complain when you use it! But the installation will finish without trouble once you did that.

Clients

If you use Ubuntu as a station distribution, on a different computer thant the server, please install the folling package:
- #sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
to have the full kde desktop with kubuntu taste!
or do the just the following
- #sudo apt-get install kdepim kdepim-wizards
The second package is necesarry because it owns the kolabwizard utility which allows you to connect kontact to a kolab2 server.
